Job Description

Nike is seeking a Director to lead the regional cost strategy for Apparel & Accessories in South Asia and EMEA. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of costing specialists and drive product cost transparency through effective costing processes.

The role requires collaboration with various teams, including sourcing, product creation, and factory management. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.

The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing costing strategies, monitoring factory performance, and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, they will support the development of supplier-specific negotiation strategies and foster a high-performance culture within the regional costing team.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
  • At least 7 years' relevant experience; manufacturing, product development, engineering, or procurement background is a plus
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects across locations
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for senior leadership
  • Innovative, proactive problem-solver with strong interpersonal and alignment-building skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and adept at conveying ideas to varied audiences
  • Comfortable with ambiguity in dynamic settings
  • Proven team building and leadership experience
