Backend Developer Job Opportunity

This is an exciting chance to work as a Backend Developer with our organization.

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer who will be responsible for designing and implementing modern software development practices, including TDD, pair programming, and CI/CD.

  • You will collaborate closely with our QA team to automate tests and ensure bugs are fixed quickly.
  • You will also work with our DevOps team to automate build, deployment, and monitoring tasks.
  • Your primary objective will be to review code and maintain high software standards, adhering to security best practices.
  • You will work with our system architect to design and document system architecture, ensuring compliance with government security and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Electronics Engineering or relevant discipline is required.
  • Experience working with Visual Studio .NET Core 6 or higher is necessary.
  • You should have strong proficiency in modern backend programming languages such as Ruby.
  • Proficiency in Git and modern branching workflows such as GitFlow, trunk-based development is required.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an added advantage.
  • DevOps automation, containerisation, and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes and CICD Tools is preferred.
