Senior Backend Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure backend services using Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, or C# (.NET Core). Your expertise in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture will enable us to build innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business.

As a seasoned engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex backend systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with AWS services and data management in relational and NoSQL databases. Your experience with software design patterns (SOLID, DRY) and best practices will help us maintain high-quality codebases.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure backend services
  • Developing and maintaining backend services using Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, or C# (.NET Core)
  • Designing, implementing, and documenting RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
  • Collaborating with teams to integrate AWS services and manage data in relational and NoSQL databases
  • Applying software design principles and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot, Kotlin, or C# (.NET Core)
  • Extensive experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Proven experience with AWS services
  • Proficient in SQL with experience in relational and NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles (SOLID, DRY, etc.)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, NUnit)
  • Experience with agile development practices
