Software Development Opportunity

Job Summary:

A key role in a pioneering project focused on Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems is available. As a backend software engineer, you will play a crucial part in the development and implementation of Java-based backend components using Spring Boot.

  • Design high-performance Java-based backend modules using Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Support the development of microservices within Docker containers, utilizing Kubernetes or OpenShift for orchestration.
  • Work collaboratively with senior developers to gather requirements, contribute to technical design specifications, and ensure seamless system communication and event handling.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services for AFC component interaction.
  • Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and system testing to ensure backend performance and security.

Requirements:

This position requires strong foundational knowledge of Java programming and backend application development. The ideal candidate should also have exposure to microservices architecture and containerization tools. Familiarity with messaging systems such as Kafka and MQTT is an advantage. Additionally, understanding of RESTful API design, relational database management, and willingness to learn domain-specific concepts related to AFC systems are essential.
