The role of the Strategic Account Executive is to maximize sales of all Corning Optical Communication's products to key global accounts identified as strategic.
As a member of the Corning team, you will be responsible for executing a joint sales and access plan for assigned accounts that can be implemented across geographic boundaries including NAFTA, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
This involves meeting sales budget for all telecommunications products associated with assigned accounts, identifying, developing, and executing on global and strategic opportunities with a coordinated effort within Corning's functional teams.
You will serve as the 'owner' of the commercial strategy for key accounts and represent APAC interests in business review and planning sessions.
Developing and executing multi-year account plans aligned with customer growth strategies and Corning's product and solutions portfolio is also an essential part of this role.
The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen, strong ability to anticipate the customer's tomorrow, and a proven track record managing large/complex accounts across the APAC region.
