Job Title: Residential Care Operations Manager
\This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Residential Care Operations Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our residential care facilities. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day residential care operations, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care in accordance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

- Support the Home Manager in leading a team of welfare staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to our residents.\
- Develop and implement effective operational plans, including staff scheduling, training programs, and quality assurance initiatives.\
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our care services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.\
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, such as regulatory bodies and community organizations.\
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.\
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\
- Participate in regular meetings with senior management, providing updates on operational performance and recommending strategies for improvement.\
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to enhance our care services.\
- Collaborate with other departments, such as education and facilities, to ensure seamless delivery of care services.\
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, reporting any non-compliance or potential risks to senior management.\
- Other duties as assigned by the Home Manager or senior management.\

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.\
- At least 5 years' experience in residential care, social service, or a related field, preferably in a leadership or management role.\
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, best practices, and industry standards.\
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.\
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational plans, improve process efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.\
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including residents, families, staff, and external partners.\
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.\
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications relevant to the role.\
