Job Title: Utility Systems Maintenance Specialist

 

  • This role involves ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of utilities systems, with emphasis on adherence to industry standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

 

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical direction and supervision for utilities system maintenance and operation.
  2. Coordinating the operation and maintenance of HVAC, chiller, boilers, air compressor, WFI, and RODI systems.
  3. Collaborating with the validation team to complete qualification and re-qualification of facilities and utilities systems.
  4. Drafting and preparing maintenance and operation SOPs and PM plans for utility systems.
  5. Managing utilities and facilities systems-related changes and deviation management.
  6. Cooperating with internal and external audit teams.
  7. Completing small CAPEX projects related to utilities and facilities systems.
  8. Developing and implementing utilities and facilities shutdown plans.
  9. Reviewing as-built drawings, engineering technical data, and performance data.
  10. Supporting third-party vendors in performing routine inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
  11. Ensuring compliance with maintenance based on site engineering and quality requirements.
  12. Completing all routine maintenance works as scheduled and in compliance with engineering standards and safety procedures.
  13. Accurately completing and processing all GMP documentation related to maintenance activities.
  14. Performing additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

 

Requirements / Qualifications:

 

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent experience.

 

  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience in the maintenance of utilities and facilities systems, including validation/GMP issues.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems.
  • Understanding of electrical standards and local requirements, and general electrical safety standard methodologies.
  • SAP/CMMS experience is an advantage.

 

Proficiencies:

 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and regulated environment.
  • Strong planning, scheduling, organizing, prioritizing, and project coordination skills.
  • Deep understanding of facilities systems related to validation/GMP requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of various RCA tools.
  • Capable of working independently and performing machine maintenance work.
