Utility Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Systems Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our utilities systems. As a Utility Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direction and supervision to support utilities system maintenance and operation. Your expertise will help us adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure flawless operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide direction and supervision to support utilities system maintenance and operation.
  • Coordinate the operation and maintenance of HVAC, chiller, boilers, air compressor, WFI, and RODI systems.
  • Collaborate with the validation team to complete qualification and re-qualification of facilities and utilities systems.
  • Draft and prepare maintenance and operation SOPs and PM plans for utility systems.
  • Manage utilities and facilities systems-related changes and deviation management.
  • Cooperate with internal and external audit teams.
  • Complete small CAPEX projects related to utilities and facilities systems.
  • Develop and implement utilities and facilities shutdown plans.
  • Review as-built drawings, engineering technical data, and performance data.
  • Support third-party vendors in performing routine inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance based on site engineering and quality requirements.
  • Complete all routine maintenance works as scheduled and in compliance with engineering standards and safety procedures.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 4-6 years of proven experience in the maintenance of utilities and facilities systems, including validation/GMP issues.
  • Experience with Building Management Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems.
  • Understanding of electrical standards and local requirements, and general electrical safety standard methodologies.
  • SAP/CMMS experience is an advantage.
