Job Title: Utilities Systems EngineerJob Summary:We are seeking a skilled and proactive Utilities Systems Engineer to support the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of utility systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems supporting GMP manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards (e.g., cGMP, FDA) and internal quality protocols.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for utility-related issues.
  • Support validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ for utility equipment and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Manufacturing, Facilities) to ensure seamless utility support.
  • Manage contractors and vendors for utility system upgrades, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor system performance and implement energy efficiency and reliability improvements.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including SOPs, maintenance logs, and change control records.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in utilities engineering within a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of clean utility systems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and validation practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
