Job Summary:- Coordinate daily cargo and terminal operations to ensure seamless execution of tasks.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Manage daily operations at the port, including coordinating logistics and supervising staff.
- Implement effective traffic control measures to minimize congestion and delays.
- Respond to incidents and report promptly to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
- Process billing tasks, such as DSA, manual payments, and gate passes, to ensure timely payment.
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in port operations or a similar environment.
- Proficient in using tech tools, such as iPads and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to read and communicate effectively in English, and either Malay or Chinese.
- Willing to work on an 8-hour rotating shift schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
- Able to adapt in a fluid and challenging environment.
- Strong team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
