**Job Summary**:
The Port Coordinator will, under mínimal supervision, be responsible for supporting and managing customer order requirements at designated ports. The Port Coordinator position can operate in a very international environment, both in the region and with colleagues in other locations. The position is ultimately responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders in the ports.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Process customer orders from Customer Service Representative (CSR) through to delivery locations
- Process required paperwork to move products from one location to another, including across international border
- Purchase required products as required to fill customer order
- Communicate with Customer Service department to advise on status of customer order
- Conduct inventory at assigned location
- Process warehouse delivery receipts as well as processing receipts into warehouse
- Process transfers from warehouse
- Shipping - basic documentation preparation and handling
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills**:

- 1-3 years prior order processing and fulfillment experience
- Proficient with all Office software products (Word, Excel, etc)
- Must have excellent communications skill
- Must have strong listening skill
- Must have strong problem solving skill
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, time-controlled environment
- Customer service orientation
- Prior supply chain experience a plus
- Prior JD Edwards systems experience a plus (JDE planning program)
- Prior export experience a plus (basic documentation preparation and handling)
- Prior purchasing experience a plus (transactional)

**Education/Certifications**:

- Diploma or Higher Nitec

**Physical Working Environment**:

- The position works in a climate-controlled office environment and requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
