Service Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Service Associate to join our team. As a key member of our ward, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, serving food and drinks, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Serving Food and Drinks: Serve meals and refreshments to patients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and sanitation regulations.
  • Nutritional Support: Assist nurses in meeting patients' nutritional needs, ensuring accurate meal orders and delivery.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding patient information.
  • Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager, supporting the smooth operation of the ward.
Requirements
  • Availability: Work 1 weekend per week and public holidays.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts (10am - 7.30pm or 7am - 4.30pm).
  • Hours: Total working hours per week: 42 hours.
Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to multitask efficiently, and have a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.

A proactive approach to problem-solving, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, is also crucial.
