Overview
An exciting opportunity has arrived at SSG Hotels Pte. Ltd., a boutique hotel group in Singapore.

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations and overseeing the preparation of menu items.

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About You
You will have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment. You will be well-versed in food safety and sanitation regulations, with excellent time management and leadership skills. Additionally, you will have a strong knowledge of nutrition and quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in planning menus, ordering supplies, and managing inventory.
  • Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food.
  • Stock inventory appropriately.
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong knowledge of nutrition and quality control standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
