As a Procurement Specialist, your primary role will involve executing eSourcing processes and generating incremental value through eAuctions.

You will collaborate with business supplier managers and the local supply base to identify post-contract value opportunities aligned with Category Strategies.

This role may require working across various categories, demanding broad category knowledge and the ability to work dynamically with subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing indirect spend categories within specified spend ranges.
  • Managing supplier performance and ensuring contract compliance.
  • Negotiating and finalizing contracts.
  • Driving proposal, quotation, and bid preparations.
  • Developing, reviewing, negotiating, and executing complex business agreements and contracts.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and managing suppliers for performance improvement.
  • Identifying and engaging new suppliers for sourcing enhancement.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand needs and ensure timely closure.
  • Conducting spend and market analytics to optimize pricing.
  • Maintaining internal and external customer relationships.
  • Achieving savings targets and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Participating in periodic reviews with regional commodity managers.
  • Maintaining accurate reporting within deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Graduation in any subject.
  • Relevant experience in sourcing, preferably indirect services.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement activities with strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in analytics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Customer-centric approach and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Ariba, Emptoris, or similar).
