We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fire protection systems and be able to design, develop, and implement comprehensive solutions that meet the specific requirements of each project. This includes sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop fire protection systems for various building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions on fire protection system integration and performance.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes and standards, including NFPA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to integrate fire protection systems into overall building designs.
  • Perform technical analysis and simulations to validate fire protection system performance and make necessary adjustments to optimize effectiveness.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and managing fire protection systems within a consulting building services design environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of fire protection system design principles, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
