Highly Skilled Moulding Operations Leader Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Moulding Production Supervisor to lead our injection moulding operations.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily injection moulding operations, allocating manpower, and overseeing machine operations across multiple moulding lines. They will ensure strict adherence to productivity targets, cycle times, and output efficiency.
The role also involves ensuring all parts produced meet automotive quality standards (IATF 16949). The supervisor will work closely with Quality Assurance on in-process checks and non-conformance issues, support root cause analysis, and corrective actions for any quality deviations or customer complaints.
In addition, the successful candidate will oversee mould changeovers, machine start-up, shutdown, and parameter settings, optimize machine settings to improve product consistency and reduce scrap, and troubleshoot process or equipment issues to minimize downtime.
They will also supervise and coach a team of moulding technicians, operators, and material handlers, conduct training on safe machine operation, work instructions, and 5S practices, evaluate team performance, manage shift handovers, and ensure discipline.
Furthermore, the Moulding Production Supervisor will ensure daily machine maintenance checks are performed, coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance on injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment, enforce safety regulations and PPE usage at all times, promote a clean and organized work environment (5S, Kaizen), and report and assist in investigating workplace incidents or near-misses.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of injection moulding experience, preferably in automotive or precision plastic components. They should be familiar with IATF 16949, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other automotive quality tools, and proficient in setting up machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar.
Able to work in a fast-paced production environment and possess excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. They must be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
