We are seeking a highly skilled Plastics Manufacturing Manager to lead our injection moulding operations. This role requires hands-on experience and a proven track record of supervising teams, ensuring high-quality output, and adhering to industry standards.

  • The successful candidate will oversee daily activities, allocate manpower and machines effectively, and optimize production schedules to meet targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production Supervision: Lead and coordinate injection moulding activities, manage manpower allocation, and monitor cycle times.

This position also involves ensuring product quality, collaborating with QA teams, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure products meet automotive quality standards, address non-conformances, and support investigations into quality issues.

In addition to these core responsibilities, the Plastics Manufacturing Manager will oversee mould setup, start-up, shutdown, and parameter optimization, troubleshoot process and machine issues, and continuously improve process stability and product consistency.

A strong team leader with excellent communication skills, you will supervise, coach, and motivate a team of technicians, operators, and material handlers, conduct on-the-job training, and ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and 5S standards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on injection moulding experience, preferably in automotive or high-precision plastics manufacturing, and be proficient in operating and setting up moulding machines such as Arburg, Sumitomo, Fanuc, or similar.
