Data Engineer / Architect
We are seeking a skilled professional to design and implement robust data solutions that align with business objectives. As our ideal candidate, you will have expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration, along with a strong understanding of data governance and architecture best practices.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our organization as a Chief Data Infrastructure Strategist. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing enterprise-level data architectures, including data models, databases, and data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-level data architecture, including data models, databases, and data warehouses;
- Define and enforce data standards, policies, and governance frameworks;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- Architect and implement data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines;
- Evaluate and recommend data management tools, technologies, and platforms;
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and scientists to support data-driven initiatives;
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot data-related issues;
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in data architecture and technologies.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role or industry;
- Proven expertise in data modeling, database design (relational and non-relational), and data warehousing;
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL tools, and data integration technologies;
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms;
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards;
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills;
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
