Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client relationships with Ship Owners / Managers / Charterers, identifying opportunities for new contacts.
  • Analyse costs and prepare cost estimation based on enquiries.
  • Obtain commercial quotations from vendors for cost analysis.
  • Assist in quotations' clarifications and negotiations with vendors.
  • Prepare credible quotations and estimates to clients.
  • Liaison within inter-departments on project requirements and operations.
  • Able to work productively independently and as part of a team.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Boarding of vessels to oversee repair works as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree, in business management or related disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply.
  • Strong commercial background in ship repair/marine related industry.
  • Strong experience in cost estimation and analysis for ship repair projects.
  • Familiar with bidding and tender protocols.
  • Pro-active, good interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
  • Possess high level of initiative and integrity.
  • Applicants who can converse, read and write in Japanese.
  • Willing to travel as required.
