Job Title: Marine Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Marine Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct surveys and inspections onboard ships and at cargo sites to assess and report on their condition for insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend to and carry out various types of surveys onboard ships and at cargo sites.
  • Perform marine survey onboard vessels and inspect cargo equipment at sites to verify compliance with standards or specifications.

Requirements:
For this challenging role, we are looking for candidates with a Nitec/ITE qualification in Marine or a Diploma in Nautical, Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering or related fields. Prior experience working onboard vessels is an advantage, as is the ability to work irregular hours including Public Holidays due to ship schedules. Successful candidates will be offered six months' probation and opportunities to travel overseas upon satisfactory performance and skill development.
