Inspecting and maintaining of a vessel's condition to ensure seaworthiness
- Acquire and allocate resources to support operations.
- Consult with manufacturers for specialist advice and guidance.
- Coordinate with service engineers and contractors.
- Maintain relationships with shipowners.
- Manage compliance with risk management frameworks, policies and processes.
- Monitor operating costs and submit quarterly budget follow-up reports.
- Monitor ship defect list.
- Oversee allocation of resources to ships.
- Oversee ship compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation.
- Prepare specifications and evaluate tenders.
- Propose improvements to workflows to improve efficiency.
- Update clients on ship status.
Requirement:
- Degree in Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Certificate of Competency (CoC) (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1
- Good communication and people management skills
- Excellent leadership skills
