Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Programme Executive. This role involves leading structured recreational fishing-based initiatives for youths, families, and seniors.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fishing sessions that promote youth development and community engagement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and running fishing programmes that foster confidence, resilience, and community belonging.
  • Teaching and demonstrating essential recreational fishing skills.
  • Assisting in programme logistics, including planning and reporting.
  • Developing and executing marketing campaigns to drive participation.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to strengthen relationships and partnerships.
  • Ensuring timely documentation and maintaining accurate programme data.
  • Providing administrative support related to programme operations.


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Minimum GCE O-Level certification.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience working with youths, families, or seniors preferred.
  • Strong passion for social innovation, community work, and recreational fishing.
  • Skilled in facilitation and engagement, especially in outdoor settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • A team player with strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable to different situations.
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.
  • Basic knowledge and skills in recreational fishing are essential.
  • Willing and able to work on weekends, with most working hours spent outdoors.
