Bloomberg Live Experiences is seeking a Commercial Director to accelerate the growth of our commercial event business across Asia-Pacific.
Job DescriptionWe are on the lookout for a strategic and consultative sales leader who can identify, prospect, and cultivate relationships with potential clients to generate new event sponsorship opportunities. You will be responsible for articulating Bloomberg's unique market position and event offering to drive client interest and deal closure. Your expertise in project management tools and online systems, including Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack, will ensure seamless execution of event deliverables and exceed client expectations.
You will work closely with our team of dedicated event and cross-platform sales professionals to deliver high-value sponsorships and event integrations. Your ability to leverage regional insights and drive business development and client engagement will be key to your success.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least 10 years of experience in event sponsorship sales
- Experience working with APAC clients across different sectors on global campaigns
- Excellent presentation skills and high emotional intelligence
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Strong understanding of local markets and client landscapes within the APAC region
- Proven track record of revenue growth through consultative sales
