Vessel Accountant Job Description

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Vessel Financial Specialist to join our team in Singapore.

This role will be responsible for performing various financial tasks such as bookkeeping, data entry and reporting. The ideal candidate should have excellent knowledge of accounts payable and receivable, particularly in the shipping industry.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for costing calculations on vessel revenue and voyage expenses, as well as timely reporting to stakeholders.

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess a Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipping industry.

The successful candidate should also have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in using accounting software or Excel.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who can accurately handle financial transactions and provide excellent support to our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform financial transactions such as bookkeeping, data entry and reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, particularly in the shipping industry.
  • Conduct costing calculations on vessel revenue and voyage expenses.
  • Prepare timely reports for stakeholders.
Requirements:
