Job Title: Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Thomson Medical Pte. Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of HR functions, including employee recruitment, retention, engagement, performance management, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with the HR leadership team to provide guidance and support to business units, aligning with the organization's goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Business Unit Leads/Heads of Department in managing employee lifecycles.
  • Support annual performance management processes, providing guidance on managing performance issues.
  • Collaborate with Heads of Department on annual budgeting, understanding manpower requirements.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Execute administration processes related to the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, work pass management, performance evaluation, re-employment, and offboarding.
  • Facilitate employee relations, responding to grievances, complaints, and conflicts effectively.
  • Update employee profiles and benefits in HR systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information, ensuring statutory compliance.
Secondary Responsibilities:

Either Insurance or Payroll responsibilities.

  • Insurance:
    • Process insurance claims submissions, complying with government regulations and company policies.
    • Stay updated on company insurance policies, such as Foreign Worker Insurance, Work Injury, Maternity benefits.
    • Monitor statutory requirements for regulatory reports (e.g., Work Injury reports to MOM).
    • Verify coverage, process policy updates, and issue certificates of insurance.
    • Process eligible claims, coordinating with insurance brokers.
    • Update monthly work injury report details.
    • Liaise with teams for smooth insurance review and renewal.
  • Payroll:
    • Accurately process payroll for employees.
    • Submit timely bank transfers, CPF, statutory claims, and income tax filing.
    • Maintain organized and secure payroll records.
    • Review attendance records and validate compensation information.
    • Investigate and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
    • Respond to inquiries regarding payroll information.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Human Resource roles and related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and statutory regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of SGD $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
