Job Title: Production Support Specialist
About the Role:
The role of a Production Support Specialist is to provide technical support for a production environment. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to system performance, application errors, and other production-related problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor system alerts and perform regular health checks to ensure system stability
- Triage and troubleshoot issues reported by users or detected by monitoring tools
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex issues and implement fixes
- Develop and maintain knowledge base documentation for recurring issues
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues escalated from lower-level support teams
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of system architecture and configuration. You should also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in a production support role
- Strong understanding of system architecture and configuration
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
- Familiarity with SQL and log analysis
