Job Title: Product Strategist

Overview of the Position

The product strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping the company's product portfolio, ensuring it meets regional and global needs. This role involves aligning local market trends with global strategies to create a cohesive product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with leadership teams to define target market pricing, implement profitability measures, and coordinate pricing strategies. The product strategist also oversees product launches and manages the product lifecycle (PLC), driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer acquisition.

Responsibilities
  1. Steer product launches and manage product lifecycle (PLC)
  2. Conduct market and competitive analysis, translate input into product requirements, and define product-specific strategies and target market pricing
  3. Innovate to solve customer problems, integrate new technologies, and develop comprehensive business concepts for new product development
  4. Align regional/local objectives with global strategies and collaborate with Sales & Cluster Managers
  5. Develop and manage product roadmaps and the 5-Year Integrated Roadmap (5YIR)
  6. Monitor product performance, gather customer feedback, and drive continuous improvements
  7. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales) to ensure product feasibility, quality, and compliance
  8. Manage product documentation, specifications, and training/support materials for sales teams

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Electrical/Industry Engineering
  • 3-5 years of product management experience in the electrical component industry
  • Strong technical and strategic knowledge in the cable and connectors industry
  • Experience working in MNCs with local, regional, and global teams
  • Strong writing, presenting, and communication skills
Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm
