Job Overview

The Chief Product Strategist plays a pivotal role in driving business success through effective product management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine product vision and roadmap aligned with organizational objectives
  • Analyse market trends and competitive landscape for ASEAN markets
  • Develop product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and value propositions
  • Translate business requirements into precise product specifications and user stories
  • Promote product-market fit initiatives and expansion strategies
Cross-Border Team Management
  • Lead and mentor Product Owners/teams across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Directors and development teams across multiple ASEAN countries
  • Coordinate product development activities across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and future ASEAN markets
  • Establish product management processes and best practices for distributed teams across diverse regulatory environments
  • Foster cross-cultural communication and alignment across ASEAN markets with varying business practices
Product Development & Execution
  • Oversight of product backlog prioritisation and feature roadmap planning
  • Author detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements documents
  • Partner with CTOs and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solutions
  • Lead agile development processes, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Make data-driven decisions on feature development and product iterations
Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as primary product liaison between organisational strategy and execution teams
  • Present product updates, roadmaps, and performance metrics to senior leadership
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success teams across multiple ASEAN markets on product launches
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback from diverse cultural and business contexts to inform product decisions
  • Manage expectations and communication across multiple time zones, languages, and cultural frameworks
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-8 years of product management experience with 2+ years in senior product roles
  • Experience managing remote or distributed product teams
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and delivery
