Job Description

Riot Games is seeking a skilled Data Insights Specialist to join our team as an Insights Analyst II on Wild Rift. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with Rioters from various disciplines to build analyses that inform product decisions.

As an Insights Analyst on Wild Rift, your primary focus will be providing data analysis to empower the team to understand product performance. You will collaborate with product managers to define data metrics, query data to validate assumptions, and measure success. Your expertise will be essential in building and maintaining Tableau dashboards for Riot and partner developers to monitor data trends.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with producers to define data metrics and build new dashboards to understand product performance (40% of time)
  • Own in-game event performance reporting by communicating with stakeholders, performing analyses, writing reports, and communicating findings (20% of time)
  • Standardize and automate regular product reportings, such as bi-weekly product key metrics updates and patch performance reports (20% of time)
  • Maintain existing dashboards and manage backend data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data updates (10% of time)
  • Handle ad-hoc data ETL requests from various teams across global offices (10% of time)
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, game data analytics, systems analysis, or related fields
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau, with the ability to maintain complex spreadsheets
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and communicating business insights
  • Experience with mobile gaming or online gaming
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English
  • Base in Singapore
Desired Qualifications
  • Degrees in Economics, Behavioral Economics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines
  • Advanced degrees or 2nd Class Upper Honors for bachelor degrees
  • Ability to take broad questions and refine them into tightly-defined data requirements
