Job Overview: Data Centre Operations Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our data centre infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring reliability, safety, and uptime of all critical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily operations and maintenance of data centre infrastructure.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance works for M&E systems such as UPS, CRAC, generators, DRUPs, and BMS.
  • Monitor and operate building management systems (BMS), power monitoring systems, and other facility-related software to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ensure proper organisation of critical facility areas, including equipment rooms and control centres.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance and project works.
  • Assist in preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work (PTW) documentation.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma from a recognised tertiary establishment in Facility Management / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Building Services.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management, with at least 1 year in a Data Centre Management.
  • Class 3 driving license will have added advantage.
  • Experience in Data Centre Facility Management (DCFM) and CDFOS will be preferred.
  • FSM / other FM and Safety related certificates will have added advantage.
  • Good interpersonal soft skills and verbal & written communication.
  • Good working knowledge and understanding of maintenance and contracts.
