Workplace Health Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in occupational health and safety, with experience in developing and implementing effective safety policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Safety Policies:
  • Establish site-specific safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, promoting a culture of compliance and accountability.

  • Conduct Regular Safety Inspections:
  • Perform thorough safety inspections to identify potential hazards and address them promptly with the team, fostering a proactive approach to risk management.

  • Support Risk Assessments and Compliance:
  • Assist in conducting comprehensive risk assessments, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

  • Maintain WHS Supplies and Records:
  • Ensure all WHS supplies are up-to-date and maintain accurate records of safety incidents and training, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards with teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
