Workplace Health Specialist

We're looking for a skilled Workplace Health Specialist to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center team. Our Centre is at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing Operations network, managing our fast-moving inventory.

The successful candidate will provide hands-on support to our Associates, Area Managers, Operations Managers, and Business Partners in executing workplace health policies on sites. They will partner with site operations teams to implement established safety procedures, training floor managers to complete their WHS responsibilities.

Key job responsibilities include:

  • Conducting daily safety inspections/walkarounds and partnering with AMs/TLs to remove daily safety hazards or unsafe conditions.
  • Assisting the WHS Manager in revising risk assessments and safety procedures, work instructions and safety training contents.
  • Participating in DDDs, site management safety walks, providing insight into unsafe acts and conditions to management.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with safety procedures, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to understand upstream and downstream processes. They will also possess effective time management skills, problem-solving skills, and analytical skills.

  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.
  • At least a Diploma Certificate.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
