**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Conduct case underwriting for medical, financial, and special risks within assigned underwriting limits.
  • Assess and approve claims within assigned claim limits.
  • Assist in underwriting and claims review of South-East Asia clients.
  • Conduct research on clients' needs and collect data on underwriting and claims development from South-East Asia markets.
  • Monitor market developments to identify solutions or opportunities with the marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the actuarial team to monitor portfolio experience and make recommendations for product design.
  • Participate in internal and external training programs.
  • Contribute to regional and international initiatives and projects.

**Requirements:**

  • Relevant qualification with at least 5 years of work experience in a life insurance or reinsurance company, with a focus on one or more South-East Asian markets.
  • Sound medical knowledge and exposure to life, critical illness, disability, and health insurance products.
  • Professional life insurance qualifications such as FALU or equivalent life underwriting qualifications.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Bahasa is essential for working with Malaysia and Indonesia markets.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
