About the Role:

SG005 Marsh (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President, Power Client Manager. This is an exceptional opportunity to collaborate with a highly motivated and well-established placement team based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client servicing and deliverables for a major global company in the power and water desalination industry, with a focus on renewables and a dominant footprint in the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia.
  • Participate in one of the most vibrant Energy & Power broker teams globally in our Singapore regional Asia hub.
  • Support project managing the servicing of a major global client at Marsh, including Property Damage Business Interruption, Third Party Liability, and Political Violence programs.
  • Analytical and research skills are essential to understand account structure and framework, and to gain a comprehensive understanding of the global client and their business needs.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are required to present to senior management teams both within Marsh and the client.
  • Understand Marsh's digital tools and offerings to suggest and oversee implementation of chosen platforms.
  • Attend, participate, and prepare presentations or meetings for client and internal teams, and track progress at timely intervals.
  • Support expansion opportunities with the same client, leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings.
  • Have a good working knowledge of insurance across all classes and possess good communication skills to inform client and Marsh team members in a timely and concise manner.
  • Construct effective means of communication and escalation for the account management team, which spans different geographies.
  • Attend to client queries on day-to-day matters and troubleshoot internal processes within Marsh.

Requirements:

  • More than 7 years of working experience in international broking houses or insurance companies in a servicing, placement, and/or underwriting capacity.
  • Knowledge of general insurance classes, including Property and Political Violence Insurance.
  • Experience in managing internal processes across various departments and countries.
  • Attained or willing to attain a minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent.
