Responsibilities
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry concepts.
  • Recommends changes to surveying processes and safety programs based on new developments.
  • Conducts surveys on classed ships, offshore installations, or marine assets to ensure compliance with classification and statutory requirements.
  • Presents technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
  • Liaises with clients to solve problems within the area of expertise.
  • Ensures client satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of issues.
  • Maintains the maintenance of quality, content, consistency, and continuity of work performed.
  • Ensures the highest ethical standards are upheld in all professional interactions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 8 years experience in engineering or inspection/survey fields.
  • Hold qualification of Renewal survey and ISM/ISPS/MLC Audit.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • Basic knowledge of shipbuilding practices and ship operations.
  • Knowledge of ships' engineering systems and machinery.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Professional Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
