Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the development and growth of Digital Data Networks Private Brand Labeling (PBL) globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategy Development: Develops and drives strategy for PBL at a global level, focusing on business and margin growth.
  • Business Planning: Engages in long-term business planning to drive revenue, gross margin, quality, delivery, service, capability, and capacity goals.
  • P&L Ownership: Responsible for managing PBL virtual plant profit and loss, driving business and margin growth through effective supplier management and strategic planning.
  • Supplier Management: Ensures that suppliers are focused on business and margin growth, new product introduction (NPI), cost reduction, customer delivery, customer quality, market share reinforcement, and other key performance indicators as required by the PBL Success Path.
  • Market Trends: Understands market trends and TE product road maps, preparing suppliers' pipelines to support business growth.
  • Global Team Leadership: Leads a global team with a focus on inclusivity and diversity, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • NPI Introduction: Successfully introduces new products from BL, ensuring a seamless transition into mass production.
  • Information Collection: Collects and provides information to TE Market and PM teams on new products and technologies in the market.
  • Product Promotion: Proactively promotes new products from suppliers/markets to PM, enriching the TE product portfolio.
  • Capital Expenditure: Manages capital expenditure and investment for PBL projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Supplier Lifecycle Management: Oversees the entire supplier lifecycle, from introduction to balanced scorecard management and eventual exit.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manages products throughout their lifecycle, from NPI to mass production and eventual end-of-life (EOL).
  • Infrastructure Enhancement: Continuously works on enhancing infrastructure, reviewing procedures, and improving processes to increase efficiency.
  • Value-Added Engineering: Collaborates with the Engineering team to drive value-added engineering (VAVE) initiatives.
  • SOP Process: Enhances supplier capacity and capability management through standard operating procedure (SOP) process improvement.
  • Quality Management: Ensures year-over-year 20% quality performance improvement through rigorous quality management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drives PBL continuous improvement certification and targets Star level 5 within 3 years.
  • Tool Application: Applies continuous improvement tools with key suppliers to enhance process control and efficiency, sharing 'win-win' outcomes with TE.
