Job Opportunity: Master Data Specialist

We seek a seasoned professional to manage and execute Master Data activities across assigned countries, ensuring timely and accurate financial and analytical reports.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key stakeholders and internal customers, including cluster country FDs, country business users, internal control teams, and external auditors.

The Master Data Specialist will review, validate, and execute Master Data requests in compliance with Internal Control and governance requirements. They will perform validation of master data request, which includes reviewing supporting documents, performing validity checks, and making call backs as needed.

In addition, the Master Data Specialist will address and resolve issues relating to Master Data, ensuring that good internal controls and Master Data practice are met in accordance with group policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute Master Data activities across assigned countries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial and analytical reports.
  • Manage key stakeholders and internal customers.
  • Review, validate, and execute Master Data requests.
  • Address and resolve issues relating to Master Data.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant finance and accounting experience gained from companies with organizational complexity and multicultural business environment.
  • Participated in more than 1 system implementation/automation project, preferably in requirement gathering, change impact assessment, or user acceptance testing.
  • Strong Master Data experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to lead and present at team meetings, resolve conflicts, and propose resolution plans within the team.
  • Possessing industry experience in Wine & Spirits, FMCG, Consumer, or Luxury Goods is an advantage.
  • Strong commercial and data-driven mindset with ability in strategic planning, managing, and analyzing financial data.

Preferred Skills:

  • Digital Transformation and Strategic Planning skills are essential for this role.
  • Experience with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and FMCG is highly desirable.
