The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and business development, with a proven track record of consistently surpassing targets and demonstrating leadership skills. They will be responsible for managing the business development process, developing and selling complex proposals, and analyzing and developing high-quality pipelines.
The Senior Business Development Manager will work closely with the Business Development Team to identify new business opportunities, develop strategic plans, and execute sales strategies. They will also be responsible for providing support and training to junior team members and taking part in regional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the business development process, from start to end.
- Develop and sell complex proposals and packages.
- Responsible for pipeline strategy, analysis, and development.
- Manage sales teams and provide support and training.
- Take part in regional initiatives and contribute to the company's overall success.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (economics, business, finance, marketing).
- Native English speaker, with other language skills desirable.
- 7-8 years of work experience in sales and business development.
- An interest in economics and current affairs.
- Comfortable making cold calls to multiple countries.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong writing skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Salesforce.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
