Job Title: Senior Construction Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the execution of construction works, ensuring timely completion and quality control.
  • Supervise site operations, maintain adherence to contract specifications, drawings, and allocated timeframe.
  • Verify all drawings and specifications to ensure works are conducted in accordance with approved plans, reporting discrepancies to the Operations In-Charge.
  • Evaluate the quality of works, materials, and samples delivered to site, take corrective measures for non-compliance, and report to the Operations In-Charge on any non-conforming materials.
  • Compile defect lists, monitor rectification work progress, and ensure satisfactory resolution of defects.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and specifications during construction.
  • Verify that structural elements or critical works are executed in accordance with approved plans.
  • Attend site, progress, variation, QAQC, and coordination meetings, maintaining proper minutes of these meetings.
  • Assist in resolving main contractors' queries and coordinate works with other contractors.
  • Inspect and assist with handover of completed works by other contractors.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all works performed.
  • Cultivate effective coordination among building and M&E services teams.
  • Collaborate with the safety team to ensure maximum safety standards on-site.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Civil/Structural discipline from a Polytechnic or Equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO), including at least 2 years in supervising deep excavation, drainage, pipe jacking, ground improvement, monitoring instrument installation, and data collection.
  • Ability to perform shift work, including night shifts.
  • Possession of a valid 2025 RTO Certification accredited by IES.
