Construction Project Manager

The Construction Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of projects from inception to completion. The position demands strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage project handovers, ensuring seamless transitions from design to construction
• Review and validate construction drawings, specifications, and contract deliverables against client and regulatory requirements
• Develop comprehensive construction phase plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, aligned with project vision and business objectives
• Plan and manage site mobilization, deploying subcontractors and suppliers efficiently
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met, focusing on aesthetics, durability, and overall quality
• Coordinate with fabricators and suppliers to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks
• Supervise all phases of fabrication, delivery, erection, and finishing, adhering to relevant standards (SS, MS, AISC, EN, AWS)
• Monitor progress and report milestone achievements to the project leader
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, tools, and equipment, confirming specifications and availability align with construction requirements
• Identify areas for cost savings without compromising safety or quality
• Provide regular project cost updates to the project manager and project leader, ensuring alignment with approved budgets
• Enforce QA/QC procedures at fabrication yards and construction sites, conducting inspections and submitting reports
• Lead site safety enforcement, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory HSE regulations
• Coordinate design changes, RFIs, and variations with the project manager
• Keep the project leader informed on key risks, milestones, and client-impacting issues
• Conduct regular meetings with site teams, subcontractors, and support departments, monitoring risk indicators and implementing mitigation strategies
• Report critical updates to senior management, ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all construction works meet contractual and quality standards before handover
