Senior Construction Project Coordinator

A skilled Construction Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in the construction industry, overseeing project operations to ensure timely completion and within budget. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, budgeting, preparing contract documents, and managing client and contractor relationships.
- Collaborate with senior management to communicate project progress and coordinate activities among team members.
- Prepare, monitor, and administer project documentation, including reports and records.
- Evaluate and certify payment claims, variations, and final accounts for contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and manage disputes effectively, maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Liaise with project teams to provide quotations, including quantity take-offs and bills of quantities, ensuring accurate data entry and up-to-date filing records.
- Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices as needed.
- Compile weekly/monthly progress reports and maintain a comprehensive document repository.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by senior management.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in a construction project coordination role is advantageous.
- Good understanding of construction contracts and ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project management software.
- Ability to work beyond normal working hours when required.
- Self-motivated, responsible, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges.
