Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical quality improvement strategies to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adopt and implement healthcare standards, such as Joint Commission International (JCI) Standards.
  • Apply continuous quality improvement methodologies to identify and design improvement strategies, facilitate team progress, and disseminate quantifiable results.
  • Support organizational-wide quality improvement initiatives and work closely with various departments to operationalize the plan.
  • Ensure training for and integration of clinical quality, teamwork, and patient safety initiatives throughout all areas.
  • Support the development of training materials and organize improvement methodology, tools, and techniques workshops.
  • Meet governmental and regulatory requirements for quality of care and patient safety by staying current with relevant requirements and assisting with survey processes as requested.
  • Participate in innovation and discovery related to care delivery, electronic medical record documentation, or other clinical quality and patient safety improvements, with external dissemination through presentations and/or publications.
  • Work closely with various functions within the department to deliver Quality annual work plan.
  • Perform clinical quality, patient safety, and risk management surveillance, investigation, abstraction, review, and reporting.
  • Provide support in setting up an organization-wide Quality Management System and work closely with the Quality team lead in planning and rolling out the program to the entire organization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Good command of the English language (spoken and written) and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Quality Management Systems and internal audits will be considered for senior positions.
  • Experience in leading or participating in improvement projects is an added advantage.
