Product Introduction Engineer

Job Description:
- Lead the New Product Introduction (NPI) process from concept to mass production at an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM).
- Develop and implement package development, assembly, and testing processes for new power management integrated circuit (PMIC) products in the automotive industry.
- Analyze opportunities for cost reduction in packaging materials and process optimizations while ensuring product quality.
- Ensure manufacturability and product ramp-up efficiency.
- Create and present reports on NPI project status, risks, and milestones.
- Perform failure analysis to identify root causes of issues.
- Conduct risk assessments such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Develop and align qualification processes.
- Interface with the quality department for quality confirmation.
- Establish data exchange between the ODM and Continental for traceability, quality assurance, and yield monitoring.
- Implement part traceability concepts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or relevant field) with a minimum of five years' working experience in semiconductor manufacturing (e.g., process or product), or subcontract management (e.g., foundries or ODMs).
- Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, electronic testing, and automotive electronic qualification requirements.
- Strong technical proficiency in package and assembly processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, results-oriented, and a quality-focused mindset.
- A team player with a proactive attitude, able to work independently and travel frequently.
