We're seeking a talented professional to join our team in Singapore for a 12-month contract. The role involves providing advanced application support for Java-based banking operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for complex Java applications used in banking.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to understand and resolve technical incidents.
  • Perform basic SQL queries to investigate data-related issues.
  • Document recurring issues and workarounds in the knowledge base.
  • Support application deployment and change activities during scheduled releases.
  • Elevate complex issues to senior engineers or development teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Java/Micro Services J2EE application support or development.
  • Good understanding of Java, Spring, REST APIs, and web services.
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
