We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. They will also have good knowledge of common engineering design software and be able to work under pressure with good time management skills.
In addition, the candidate should have working experience in engineering design consulting practice on building, geotechnical, infrastructure, rail or road projects. They should be familiar with local codes and authority submission procedures and have strong analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Prepare detailed design reports, calculations and drawings for geotechnical projects.
- Submission and Coordination: Prepare submissions to statutory agencies/ authorities and participate in the coordination with other disciplines in preparation of design deliveries.
- Tender Documentations: Participate in preparing tender documentations for geotechnical projects.
- Project Delivery: Participate in the successful delivery of projects and perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized University.
- Registration: Eligible for registration with the Professional Engineers Board (Singapore).
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the design of earth retaining and stabilizing structures, deep foundations, reclamations, slope stabilities.
- Familiarity with the geotechnical impact assessment of structures and instrumentations.
- Familiarity with the application of geotechnical FEM software.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Software Knowledge: Good knowledge of common engineering design software.
