Geotechnical Engineer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable engineering team with exposure to multidisciplinary design, marine civil engineering, and cutting-edge geotechnical practices.

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to support the design and technical delivery of geotechnical and reclamation projects. The role involves performing engineering analyses, reviewing design submissions, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Offshore/Marine Engineering, with 3 years of experience in geotechnical, marine, or offshore reclamation projects. They should also have knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, and coastal/marine works, as well as proficiency in geotechnical and structural software.

The responsibilities of this role include:
  1. Assisting in the design of reclamation, retaining structures, marine foundations, and geotechnical works.
  2. Performing geotechnical analysis, slope stability assessments, soil-structure interaction, and settlement calculations.
  3. Reviewing drawings, design calculations, method statements, and technical specifications.
  4. Liaising with project engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and site coordination issues.
  5. Preparing technical reports, documentation, and design deliverables for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.
  6. Supporting senior design engineers or project managers in project planning, coordination, and quality assurance.
  7. Ensuring compliance with local codes, standards, and international best practices in geotechnical and marine civil engineering.
  8. Participating in site visits and providing technical guidance during construction or reclamation activities.
