We are seeking a skilled Geotechnical Engineering Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about geotechnical engineering and wants to make a meaningful contribution.

Job Description:

As a Geotechnical Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking geotechnical engineering design related to MRT Stations, buildings, and civil infrastructure, underground structures, and deep excavations. You will work closely with the Director of the department to support tender projects and projects in various government agencies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake geotechnical engineering design related to MRT Stations, buildings, and civil infrastructure, underground structures, and deep excavations.
  2. Ensure engineering deliverables meet client expectations and basis of design.
  3. Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
  4. Liaise with Engineer Team, QP, and local authorities.
  5. Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on technical matters.
  6. Train and support junior engineers (for experienced candidates).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of design experience in geotechnical design for underground structures and deep excavations.
  • Fast learner with high aspiration for professional growth.
  • Collaborative and result-oriented nature.
  • Able to interpret ground conditions and prepare Geotechnical Interpretative Report, and familiar with geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring.
  • Civil Engineering Degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools.
