We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Specialist to join our team. This role involves reviewing and developing instrumentation schemes, assessing ground stability, and collaborating with designers and construction teams to ensure the successful execution of geotechnical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement instrumentation schemes for monitoring ground movement and stability.
  • Collaborate with project teams to address trends and issues related to ground instability.
  • Liaise with temporary works design consultants and clients regarding instrument locations and monitoring frequencies.
  • Submit instrument as-built information and reports, maintaining a summary of instruments for review meetings.
  • Arrange meetings with construction teams to discuss trend analysis and remedial measures.
  • Follow up with construction teams regarding instrument obstructions or damage.
  • Obtain and maintain instrument readout calibration status from sub-contractors.
  • Attend meetings with clients, designers, and subcontractors regarding geo-technical and instrumentation issues.
  • Manage and coordinate the production of drawings and documents for relevant parties.
  • Submit samples, product catalogues, and technical specifications for review and approval.
  • Ensure document control and issue drawings/documents to relevant parties.

Requirements:
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering, excavation, drainage, water management, and civil engineering.
  • Strong understanding of instrumentation schemes, ground stability assessment, and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
