We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team at the Autism Resource Centre (Singapore). Our centre provides a supportive living environment for adults on the autism spectrum, empowering them to lead independent lives.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being. This includes assisting with household chores, meal preparation, time management, and social interactions.

A key aspect of this role is supporting residents in developing residential living skills, such as maintaining personal hygiene, managing finances, and engaging in community activities.

  • Assist residents with daily tasks, including medication administration and personal care
  • Support residents in developing life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Encourage social interaction and community engagement among residents
  • Monitor and maintain resident safety and security at all times
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or similar disabilities
  • Knowledge of autism and its effects on daily life
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
