Job Summary

As a Senior Sales Executive - Market Development Specialist at MURATA ELECTRONICS SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities to drive company growth in assigned markets. This role involves researching potential markets, developing strategies to enter new markets, building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, and achieving sales targets.

Main Responsibilities

*Market Research and Analysis*: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential markets and customer needs in assigned areas/market segments. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to develop market entry strategies. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on market opportunities and recommendations.
*Business Development*: Conduct annual sales target settings and meet targets set by management. Identify and target new business opportunities in Healthcare/Environment segments. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets based on assigned customer accounts/new prospect accounts. Expand the customer base with internal Product Team to conduct sales promotion activities for prospective and existing customers.
*Client Relationship Management*: Responsible to manage a group of customers, works closely with internal stakeholders to provide support and perform sales activities. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Conduct Business Meetings/negotiation and Customer Visitations. Handling complaints, executing the follow up needed for complaints received from customers.

Key Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering field. Advanced degrees or additional certifications in sales or business administration are a plus.
* Minimum 2-5 years of experience in B2B experience in sales, business/market development role.
* Strong understanding of market research and analysis techniques.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients and colleagues.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. A customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
* Ability to identify client needs, propose effective solutions, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Able to travel as required to meet with clients and host industry events
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
